About AES Group

AES is a  certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and a Women Owned Small Business (WOSB). We have been providing full-service engineering, architectural, and design-build services throughout the US since 2002.  The AES team has a staff of experienced senior project managers with demonstrated track records of successfully managing projects of varying sizes and complexities.  Our senior project managers are very diverse in thought and in background and, therefore, are better able to supply effective solutions to our clients.  Together they represent over 200 years of engineering and architecture experience. Today AES has successfully completed hundreds of projects for federal entities.

 

AES is knowledgeable and compliant with the VA CFM TIL and other government design criteria including NCA, DoD, USACE and UFC standards and specifications. AES has provided engineering and architecture for various government facilities throughout the US, including Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Centers and Cemeteries, the Office of Construction and Facilities Management, the US Air Force, the US Army, and the US Navy. We have completed hundreds of VA contracts from coast to coast, 30+ USACE contracts, 15 NAVFAC contracts, 16 NPS contracts and more. We hold GSA schedule number 47QRAA22D00DR for engineering and construction management. We are proud to have several team members who have taken an active role in engineering industry standards development. Department of Veterans Affairs

AES has been the prime contractor for hundreds of VA hospital projects, some with design fees over $4 million dollars. The projects range from full service architectural, engineering and design for historical landmark buildings to renovations for hospital and laboratory expansions. Other projects have included EHRM upgrades; FCA corrections; HVAC replacement; and design of new facilities. AES has successfully completed AE IDIQ contracts with several VA VISNs as well as USACE, NPS and the Office of Construction & Facilities Management Central Region to provide Electrical Studies for VA campuses nationwide. We are also providing construction management services for multiple VA medical campuses and cemeteries nationwide including Puerto Rico.

Military Contracts

AES recently completed an IDIQ with the Army Corps of Engineers Fort Worth District. We received 13 task orders totaling over $10 million. We are also on multiple USACE IDIQ teams including one for the USACE Middle East District to provide technical support, maintenance and design of the Army Facilities Component System (AFCS); one for the USACE Louisville District to provide AE services for the Standardization of Non-permanent Facilities; and one that provides AE services for TAM, AOR and GCC Countries. Prior to these IDIQs AES performed 19 engineering task orders for a 5 year IDIQ contract with the USACE Omaha District. AES is on an IDIQ team for AE Housing Services for NAVFAC Pacific. For this we have performed 2 task orders in Guam. Finally, AES has completed contracts for USACE Europe District in Romania, Albania, Bulgaria and Georgia.

GSA Schedule

AES holds GSA Contract #47QRAA22D00DR, for Professional Engineering and Construction Management Services. Under the GSA, AES has received over $17 million in engineering contracts including utility metering for VA hospitals and cemeteries throughout the US and construction management services for VA hospitals and cemeteries nationwide. AES has been successfully performing construction management services at the VA in Puerto Rico since 2014, including ongoing support of all construction activities and constructability reviews.

Energy and Utilities

AES has worked directly with multiple federal entities for project designs which incorporate energy reduction efforts and utility upgrades. AES has performed over $4M in government contracts nationwide for utility studies and management programs. Under our CFM IDIQ we have performed arc flash studies at multiple VA campuses. Our Pikes Peak National Cemetery design includes LEED Silver and Gold certified facilities. Other projects include solar design and installations, new boiler design; complete energy system audits, steam trap surveys and rainwater harvest projects. We have been asked back to the National Park Service to design plans for replacing deisel power with solar hybrid systems. Our design services typically integrate sustainable design principles along with consideration for life-cycle costs, operations and maintenance.
